VinFast is working hard to get India ready for the electric revolution; the VF6 small SUV has been seen testing in the real world. Here are some new developments on the roads:
1. Spy Shots in Action
Mumbai streets have spotted the VF6 disguised, indicating that it is ready for launch during the holiday season.
As part of VinFast’s efforts to guarantee smooth interoperability with India’s charging ecosystem, these sightings include the VF6 at charging stations.
2. Striking Exterior
With its full-width LED strips that create a “V” around the emblem, prominent black cladding, 18-inch alloy wheels, a sloping roofline, higher 190 mm ground clearance, and wraparound rear lights, the VF6 remains faithful to its Auto Expo 2025 look.
3. Tech-Rich Cabin
Inside, a 12.9-inch touchscreen angled toward the driver will house all controls, and drivers will rely on a HUD in place of conventional digital gauges. The arrangement is completed with dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, AC controls, connected technology, Level-2 ADAS, 360-degree cameras, and safety features like seven airbags.
4. Powertrain & Performance
With a WLTP-rated range of 480 km, the VF6 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.89 seconds and produces about 204 horsepower and 310 Nm of torque thanks to its 59.6 kWh battery.
5. India Strategy & Timeline
VinFast is implementing localized operations; by lastweek, production is expected to begin at its Tamil Nadu manufacturing site.
Pre-orders for the VF6 are probably going to open soon, and the movie is anticipated to arrive in India in September.
