Nissan Motor India has officially launched the all-new Nissan Gravite compact MPV in the Indian market with an attractive introductory price starting at Rs. 5.65 lakh (ex-showroom) for early buyers.

Positioned as a value-oriented 7-seater family MPV, the Gravite enters India’s competitive sub-4-metre MPV segment and is aimed at budget-conscious families looking for practicality and modern features at an affordable price point. The launch further strengthens Nissan’s portfolio in the country’s entry-level and mass-market segments.
Built on the CMF-A+ platform, the Nissan Gravite carries the brand’s signature styling elements, including a bold front grille, sculpted bumpers, sleek headlamps, and distinctive Gravite badging. Despite its compact dimensions, the MPV offers a spacious cabin with a flexible 5+2 seating configuration, making it suitable for both urban commuting and occasional long-distance travel.
The interior is equipped with modern features depending on the variant, including an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, cruise control, automatic climate control, and LED lighting elements.
Safety has been given priority, with features such as six airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Start Assist, and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) offered across variants, enhancing overall protection for occupants.
Under the hood, the Gravite is powered by a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces around 72 PS and 96 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and an optional 5-speed AMT gearbox. The claimed fuel efficiency stands at approximately 19–20 km/l, making it economical for daily use.
The introductory price of Rs. 5.65 lakh applies to the base variant, while higher trims are priced competitively based on additional features and transmission choices. To attract early customers, Nissan is also offering zero service cost for the first five years, along with competitive financing schemes and extended warranty options.
With aggressive pricing, practical seating configuration, and a strong feature list, the Nissan Gravite aims to carve a niche for itself in India’s growing budget MPV segment.
