Royal Enfield has patented the design of its upcoming Electric FF S6 Scrambler, signalling that the brand is moving closer to launching its much-anticipated electric motorcycle. The patent filing reveals key styling elements and confirms that Royal Enfield is serious about expanding its electric portfolio under the Flying Flea (FF) sub-brand.

The FF S6 Scrambler features a rugged and minimalist design inspired by classic scrambler motorcycles. Patent images show a high-mounted front fender, flat single-piece seat, wire-spoke wheels, and long-travel suspension, giving it a strong off-road-ready stance while maintaining Royal Enfield’s retro DNA.

Unlike conventional petrol models, the Electric FF S6 is expected to use a compact electric powertrain with a centrally mounted battery pack. The design also hints at a lightweight chassis, advanced cooling for the battery, and modern components such as USD front forks and a rear monoshock for improved handling and comfort.

In terms of technology, the electric scrambler is likely to come equipped with a round digital instrument cluster, smartphone connectivity, multiple riding modes, and advanced rider aids such as traction control and ABS. While official specifications have not been revealed, the bike is expected to focus on urban usability with light off-road capability.

Although Royal Enfield has not announced an official launch date, the design patent suggests that the Electric FF S6 Scrambler could debut in the coming years. Once launched, it will play a key role in Royal Enfield’s electric strategy, targeting riders who want classic styling combined with modern electric performance.
