Suzuki Motorcycle India has updated its popular Access 125 scooter with the addition of single-channel ABS, marking an important step forward in scooter safety. The new safety feature is offered on select higher variants, making the Access 125 one of the most affordable scooters in the country to come equipped with ABS. This update aims to improve braking confidence, especially during sudden stops and on slippery road surfaces.

The single-channel ABS works on the front disc brake, preventing wheel lock-up under hard braking, while the rear continues to use a drum brake. Suzuki has introduced this setup on the Ride Connect ABS and Ride Connect TFT ABS variants. Apart from the braking upgrade, the scooter remains mechanically unchanged, retaining its familiar and reliable commuter-friendly character.
Powering the scooter is the same 124cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, producing around 8.4 PS of power and 10.2 Nm of torque, paired with a CVT automatic gearbox. Feature highlights include Suzuki’s Ride Connect Bluetooth system with call alerts, message notifications, and navigation assist, while the top TFT variant gets a modern full-colour digital display for a more premium feel.
With prices starting at around ₹92,000 (ex-showroom) for the ABS variant, the Suzuki Access 125 strengthens its position in the highly competitive 125cc scooter segment. By offering ABS without major changes to pricing or performance, Suzuki has made everyday commuting safer while keeping the Access 125 practical, comfortable, and value-focused for Indian riders.
