Indian motorcyclists saw a new surge of enthusiasm in June 2025. These five two-wheelers, which range from adventure tourers to fully-faired sports bikes and electric scooters, made headlines this month:
1. Honda Transalp XL750
The much awaited adventure motorcycle, the Honda XL750 Transalp, has made its formal debut in India. A 755cc parallel-twin engine that generates 90.5 horsepower and 75 Nm of torque powers it. A 5-inch TFT screen, LED lighting, and enhanced suspension for off-road use are some of the main features. The starting price, ex-showroom, is ₹10.99 lakh.
2. Yezdi Adventure (2025)
The Yezdi Adventure’s design is updated for 2025. The new asymmetrical LED headlamp and updated appearance are the most significant changes. The 334cc engine is still there, but the bike now has a sleeker, more contemporary appearance. The ex-showroom price is ₹2.15 lakh.
3. Suzuki GSX-8R
The Suzuki GSX-8R, a completely faired middleweight sportbike, has debuted. It has the same 776cc parallel-twin engine that produces about 82 horsepower as the GSX-8S. The bike has ABS, several ride modes, and traction control. It is a strong rival to the Kawasaki Ninja 650 and Yamaha YZF-R7.
4. BMW R 1300 GS
Finally, BMW’s newest flagship adventure tourer has arrived in India. A 1300cc boxer-twin engine that generates 145 horsepower and 110 Nm of torque powers the R 1300 GS. Advanced features including heated grips, dynamic cruise control, and full integrated ABS Pro are included. The anticipated cost is approximately ₹23 lakh.
5. Suzuki e-Access (Electric Scooter)
Suzuki launches its first electric scooter, the e-Access, into the Indian EV market. It has a 4.1 kW motor, a 3.07 kWh battery, and a 95 km range when fully charged. It can go up to 71 km/h. It also has a spacious 17-liter under-seat storage space and a 4.2-inch TFT display. The anticipated cost is between 1.10 and 1.20 lakh.
