Testing of the TVS Apache RTX 300 ADV has been observed once more, suggesting that its release is imminent. Alongside major competitors like the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and KTM 390 Adventure, this will be TVS’s first mid-size adventure tourer. The test mule has standard ADV characteristics such a trellis frame, split seats, a luggage rack, knobby tires, and a big windscreen. Additionally, it has rear monoshock suspension, USD front forks, and dual-channel ABS petal disc brakes.
The bike is powered by a brand-new 299cc liquid-cooled DOHC engine that should provide about 35 horsepower and 28.5 Nm of torque. For smoother operation, the engine will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox, a slipper clutch, and a bi-directional quickshifter.
A horizontal TFT digital display with TVS SmartXonnect Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, call/message alerts, several ride modes, traction control, and cruise control are likely to be included in the Apache RTX 300 ADV’s feature set, which is expected to be a high-end tech package.
This is made even more intriguing by the fact that Sudarshan Venu, the managing director of TVS, was recently seen testing the bike himself, which is a clear sign that it is getting close to being ready for production. According to industry sources, the official launch might happen as early as August or September of 2025. Estimates for the ex-showroom price range from ₹2.4 lakh to ₹2.9 lakh.
TVS is prepared to join the growing mid-size adventure motorbike market with the Apache RTX 300 ADV, challenging existing competitors with a daring new model.
