Kia is launching a number of items to increase its market share in the electric vehicle sector. With the recent debut of the Carens Clavis EV in India, the South Korean behemoth appears to have plans to follow up with the Syros EV. We get a sneak peek at what to expect from the new electric SUV thanks to spy photos that have appeared online, even though the brand has not yet made an official announcement.
A disguised test mule of the Kia Syros EV is depicted in the images released by Autospy. The charging connection on the SUV’s front fender was seen when the car was connected to a public DC fast charger. In contrast to the Carens Clavis EV, which featured a port positioned on the nose, this signifies a distinct strategy from the brand. Upon closer inspection, the images show that the car may also feature a comparable charging system on the opposite side. This is because the opposite side of the camo has a similar aperture.
From a design perspective, the Kia Syros EV looks a lot like its ICE cousin that is currently available for purchase in India. But a few things have changed. The EV, for example, has Lime Green brake callipers, which the manufacturer usually uses for its GT cars. Going further, both ends include alloy wheels that have been aero-optimized and disc brakes. Additionally, the test mule appears to have both front and rear parking sensors, suggesting that an ADAS suite is there.

It is anticipated that the interior design will closely resemble that of the internal combustion engine (ICE) variant. It will, however, use the updated EV-specific software for the screens, and it might have different upholstery and trims. It is anticipated that the list of features will not change.
