Jawa Moto has unveiled its new Neo-Retro 730 Twin motorcycle for global markets, marking a major step forward for the iconic Czech brand. Revealed overseas, the motorcycle blends classic Jawa design cues with modern engineering, targeting riders who appreciate retro aesthetics paired with contemporary performance. The unveiling highlights Jawa’s ambition to re-establish itself in the premium mid-capacity motorcycle segment internationally.
At the heart of the motorcycle is a 730cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, producing around 74–75 bhp and 68 Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed gearbox. This makes it the most powerful Jawa motorcycle in recent times. The engine positions the 730 Twin against popular mid-weight retro motorcycles in Europe and other global markets, offering a balance of strong performance and everyday usability.
In terms of hardware, the Jawa 730 Twin comes equipped with upside-down front forks, a rear monoshock, and Brembo braking components supported by dual-channel ABS from Bosch. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch alloy wheels and features modern technology such as LED lighting and a TFT instrument console with smartphone connectivity and navigation support, enhancing both safety and convenience.
While the 730 Twin carries the Jawa name, it is developed by Jawa Moto in the Czech Republic and is currently intended only for international markets. There are no plans for an India launch at this stage, as the brand operates separately from the Jawa motorcycles sold domestically. The new model, however, signals Jawa’s renewed focus on larger-capacity motorcycles and a possible expansion of its global portfolio in the future.
