Building on the high-performance SV model, Land Rover’s newest ultra-luxury edition is the Range Rover SV Black Edition. It is a limited-edition, completely blacked-out statement of luxury that made its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed (July 10–13, 2025). Orders will be accepted worldwide starting in late 2025.

Styling

Narvik Gloss Black is the color of the Range Rover SV Black Edition. The alloy rims, grilles, and emblems are among the components that are blacked out. Black brake callipers and 23-inch alloy rims are standard on the top Range Rover SV.

Interior

The Black version has ebony leather upholstery inside. The upper part of the seats is stitched diagonally. In addition, the gear knob has a satin-black finish and black birch wood veneers.

Features

All SV trim levels now come equipped with Body and Soul Seat (BASS) and Sensory Floor systems as standard. Through the use of transducers set into the floor and seats, it produces vibrations that enable the occupants to physically experience the music. Interestingly, the Range Rover SV Black Edition comes with a 4/5-seater long wheelbase or a 5-seater short wheelbase.

Engine

The Range Rover SV Black Edition runs by a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that was derived from BMW. It powers all four wheels with 615 horsepower and 750 NM of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission is paired with the engine.

This enables the SV Black Edition to accelerate in just 4.5 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h.

Considerations

Premium pricing over normal SV (in India, base versions start at ₹1.45 cr vs. ₹2.4 cr+).changes that are solely cosmetic in nature—no more power or handling improvements—but sensory features are quite valuable.
