Bookings for the popular VF 6 and VF 7 electric SUVs have officially begun for VinFast, a Vietnamese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer. The business intends to compete in the compact and mid-size electric SUV markets with this move, which is part of its ongoing worldwide expansion strategy.
Two New EV Options for Global Markets
VinFast introduces the VF 6 and VF 7 for global buyers. Both models target customers who want stylish, affordable, and smart electric SUVs. The VF 6 is a compact SUV designed for city use. It suits young buyers and small families. On the other hand, the VF 7 is larger and sportier. It offers more power and a bold design for those who want performance and practicality.
Moreover, the Italian design house Pininfarina has styled both SUVs. They feature sleek shapes, LED lighting, and digital dashboards.
Performance and Features
VinFast offers both SUVs in Eco and Plus variants. Each version delivers different performance levels and range. The VF 6 Eco provides a range of up to 399 km (WLTP). Meanwhile, the Plus variant offers up to 174 hp and adds more premium features.
In comparison, the VF 7 Eco delivers around 450 km of range. The VF 7 Plus uses a dual-motor AWD setup and produces up to 349 hp. It also includes a 15.6-inch touchscreen, advanced driver assistance systems, and a panoramic sunroof.
Pricing and Booking Details
VinFast has opened bookings for the VF 6 and VF 7 in markets like the U.S., Canada, and Europe. Customers can book online or visit retail outlets. Early buyers will get special benefits. These include promotional offers, refundable booking amounts, and priority delivery.
Although official prices vary by region, VinFast plans competitive pricing. In fact, it aims to undercut several existing EV rivals while offering more features and range.
A Step Forward for VinFast
With the VF 6 and VF 7, VinFast expands its EV lineup further. The brand already offers models like the VF 8 and VF 9. At the same time, the company is growing its global presence. It is setting up a new manufacturing plant in the United States and planning expansion in Europe and Asia.
VinFast also focuses on strong warranty packages and modern technology. In addition, it follows a direct-to-customer sales model to stand out in the market. Overall, the VF 6 and VF 7 mark an important step in VinFast’s global journey. As demand for EVs rises, these SUVs can attract eco-conscious and tech-savvy buyers looking for value.
